"I am very passionate about the intersection between spirituality and
mental-emotional wellbeing. I believe that there is no personal history,
hurt, behavior, or problem that God cannot use to strengthen you and
empower you to lead a healthy well-balanced life."
My name is Sarah Serrano and I will be your therapist at Bienestar

I have over 18 years experience working in the behavioral health field, which encompasses all contributions to mental wellness, including substances and their abuse, behavior, habits, and other external factors.
This clinical experience enables me to help you if you are facing stress, burnout, compassion fatigue, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief & loss, addiction, and situational crisis, among other emotional and mental health concerns.
I am very passionate about the intersection between spirituality and mental-emotional wellbeing. My experience as a faith ministry leader and professional therapist has given me the opportunity to understand and meet the needs of those who serve others. I believe that there is no personal history, hurt, behavior, or problem that God cannot use to strengthen you and empower you to lead a healthy well-balanced life.
I believe in the power of prayer, that there are answers in the Bible, and that God’s grace is made perfect in our weaknesses. I also firmly believe that God can give wisdom and discernment to counselors as we walk beside you during your journey to a place of mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
My practice philosophy is founded on the understanding that God is an integral part of our wellbeing, and that our journey is unique and personal. I am a strength-based practitioner and believe in empowering individuals.
